SALTO KS (Keys as Service) gives operators confidence, convenience and flexibility in defining who goes where and when in a building. Door access points are equipped with wireless SALTO locks, which take commands from the “IQ” inside the property. Each IQ is an intelligent hub that communicates wirelessly, granting and denying access permissions and recording access events at locks in its zone. These zones can be extended to provide greater coverage. Instead of traditional door keys or cards, users are assigned programmable “tags” that open locks when in proximity. The SALTO KS cloud-based account allows operators to define who goes where and when in a building. Create profiles for users, assign /block tags, and define which doors users may enter on which days, at which times.
